Shadow Hills Ranch

A working horse ranch in Shadow Hills, Los Angeles, rented for photo shoots, commercials, music videos, branded content, and lifestyle productions.

The setting

Four acres of ranch, light, and backgrounds.

Covered barn aisles and stalls, white-fenced corrals and riding arenas, mature oak trees, bougainvillea on the fences, and open pasture where the horses roam. Ranch details are everywhere: tack, tractors, a 1970s camper. Productions tell us the same thing every time: there are more backgrounds here than one day can use.

Production notes

  • Up to 55 people, with on-site parking that has handled crews of 18
  • Restrooms, a dressing area, and a camper for crew use (seats four)
  • Street-level access; minutes from the 210 and 5 freeways
  • Available 6:00 AM – 8:30 PM daily
  • Horses available as a separate add-on, handled by our team
  • Waiver and rules sheet signed before arrival; the main house is not part of the rental

Shadow Hills Ranch is a working horse ranch. Horses can be added to any booking at an additional cost and are handled by our team throughout the shoot.
